ReRack Story

ReRacks mission is to get you the roof rack you want at an amazing value. We know how expensive a new rack can be, and we want to make sure everyone has the ability to take their gear wherever they want in whatever vehicle they own. So in 2008 we opened as a place to buy, sell and trade used car roof rack parts. We are now home to the largest selection of current, discontinued and used roof racks, in addition to a deep inventory of hard-to-find replacement parts that are no longer manufactured.

Our deep inventory primarily contains items from Yakima and Thule but we also have items from Inno, Whispbar, ProRack, SportRack, Rhino-Rack, RockyMounts, Swagman, Saris, Softride, and Malone. We also stock a wide range of new roof racks and mounts for your bike, ski, snowboard, kayak, surf, and traveling needs. With a focus on reusing and repurposing roof racks it is our drive to support our customers in enjoying outdoor activities while keeping environmental impacts to a minimum. If you want something affordable, need a replacement part or have an older vehicle, you’ve come to the right place!

Installation
We offer several installation options, depending on what you're purchasing. Our staff has handled thousands of regular and custom installation jobs. Generally, we do not perform installations for walk in customers within one hour of closing. All installations are currently scheduled appointments.

Installation Types

Basic Installation $60
This includes all roof rack systems that do not require drilling, hitch racks, cargo boxes, cargo baskets, ski racks, kayak racks, roof top tents and awnings. Basic installations of roof racks require 1 hour, or 30 minutes for each accessory carrier. Generally, we do not perform installations for walk in customers within one hour of closing. All installs are currently scheduled appointments.

Bring Your Own $TBD (dependent on components)
If you already have a roof rack or gear mounts, we can install them for you. Please be sure to bring all rack components with you for your installation. We will always review your items and vehicle to make sure the fit is appropriate. Generally, we do not perform installations for walk in customers within one hour of closing.

Custom Fixed Point Installation $100-200
For customers that require their rack to be at a fixed position on the roof or for fixed artificial rain gutter mounts on their truck canopy. We quote 2-3 hours for custom fixed point installation and an appointment is required. This cost is only for the installation and does not include the base rack.

Custom Track Installation $200
For customers that require their rack to have an adjustable bar spread. This is useful for carrying long loads such as kayak or canoes. This is also necessary for most vehicles if you plan to carry a roof top tent. We quote 3-4 hours for custom track installation and an appointment is required. This cost is only for the installation and does not include the base rack.

Environmental Commitment

"We strive to be as green of a business as we can be"
- Bo Grayzel, Owner

Energy
ReRack has solar panels installed to generate clean, renewable energy on-site! We participate in PGE’s renewable energy program and all water devices are low-flow.

Recycling & Refurbishment
The majority of a rack’s environmental impact comes during the production process. So by re-using, recycling and repurposing rack parts, we reduce the demand for new items and lower the environmental footprint of new production. This also prevents a large amount of plastic and metal from entering landfills. Any items to be discarded are always recycled through the appropriate outlet.

Shipping & Office Supplies
Packaging materials from our retail shops such as cardboard boxes and packing material are used in warehouse and shipping operations as much as possible. All office supplies and merchandizing collateral are either recycled or sustainably certified whenever possible.
