This is the complete locking skewer replacement for the Steelhead bike mount. It can also be used in the older "CutThroat" bike mount.

This has been discontinued by Yakima - ReRack is one of the only places to still have this 9mm skewer available! 

Yakima SKS Lock core sold seperately.

Reveiw of Yakima locking skewer

These are solid heavily constructed locking skewers. I have been using them since about 2000 and have now 19 years later needed to replace one because the threads in the tightening nut have stripped out. Yakima stuff is the bomb!

I contacted Yakima about getting replacements of these, and they pointed me here to ReRack, where I feel I got a great price and 2-day shipping which was awesome. Had these when I needed them for the week. They're a lot smoother than my old ones these replaced. Thank you.
